Bayou Graphics – Warranty Policy for 3M Graphics

- Overview of Warranty Coverage
Bayou Graphics offers a comprehensive limited warranty on all graphics manufactured and installed using 3M MCS Warranty components.
Our products are warranted to:
- Resist excessive fading
- Resist cracking, peeling, and blistering
- Maintain visual appearance and adhesion under normal operating conditions
This warranty guarantees that your 3M graphic will perform as intended for the full published term.
- Warranty Term Length
Warranty periods vary depending on product selection, application method, and end-use:

Note: Warranty terms are subject to climate zone adjustments (Houston is Zone 1: Hot/Sunny)
- Conditions for Warranty Validity
- The graphic must be fabricated and installed by a 3M Certified or 3M Preferred Installer (Bayou Graphics meets this requirement).
- The customer must maintain the graphic as instructed (regular cleaning, avoiding harsh chemicals).
- Products must be used only for the intended application (e.g., vehicle wraps cannot be applied to low-energy plastics without proper preparation).
- What the Warranty Covers
If a 3M MCS graphic installed by Bayou Graphics shows premature failure within the warranty period, we will:
- Replace the defective printed film and/or laminate materials at no charge.
- Cover reasonable labor costs associated with removal and reinstallation, if originally installed by Bayou Graphics.
- Match original color and graphic layout as closely as commercially possible.
- What the Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not cover failures caused by:
- Accidents, vandalism, misuse, or neglect
- Improper cleaning (pressure washing at high PSI, use of aggressive solvents, etc.)
- Surface contamination (oil, road tar, bird droppings, etc. not cleaned off promptly)
- Graphics applied over rust, damaged paint, or failing substrates
- Improper storage before installation
- Unauthorized modifications or alterations
- Claims Process
To file a warranty claim:
- Contact Bayou Graphics within 30 days of noticing the defect.
- Provide a description of the issue along with photographs.
- Allow Bayou Graphics and/or 3M to inspect the graphic as needed.
- Approved claims will be resolved either by full replacement, partial repair, or credit, at Bayou Graphics’ discretion.

- The 3M MCS Warranty is a materials and performance warranty, not a money-back guarantee.
- Warranty claims require proof of installation date and original work order/invoice.
